A letter from Mike Scott
Thank you for stopping by!
By now you may or may not know that I have retired from teaching the Equine Massage / Muscle Therapy and Saddle Fit Certification Programs. I cannot express my gratitude for the years that you have all entrusted me to be a teacher and mentor, to have you as clients and to build many solid, long lasting friendships.
I am still looking for the right individual(s) to continue the Massage / Muscle Therapy Certification Program. As of yet, I have spoken to several but haven’t found the right fit.
For the English Saddle Fit and Flocking Certification Program, Lise Krieger has taken over and has already completed one class and is in the middle of the second program at the time of this writing. Her contact can be found here: lise@newenglandsaddlefit.com or visit saddlefitacademy.com for more information. I will be working directly with Lise for the foreseeable future to insure a smooth transition.
For those of you inquiring about finding a Saddle Fitter or Equine Massage/Muscle Therapist, please refer to the fitter or therapist page on this site. This is a great resource that many equestrians have found helpful over the years to find a massage therapist or saddle fitter for their horses’ needs.
Each of the graduates listed has completed an intense, in depth 6 month course of study. They have completed 300 hours of classroom and practical work that has been carefully monitored by me. I still field questions from them and am available for their consulting needs.
For those of you interested in purchasing a book or dvds, please visit our store. I plan on keeping this open for the foreseeable future.
I am still doing some benchwork for those that need it but on a limited scale.
Feel free to reach out if you need help/advice getting pointed in the right direction for training in massage or saddle fitting.
Thank you all so much!
Mike Scott
